
The Gaia challenge combines three disciplines: running, canoeing and cycling. This event takes place on September 21st, at the Duchesnay tourist resort, in Quebec City.
In teams of two to six, relay-format race includes a 16-km cycling leg, an 8-km running leg and a 6-km canoeing leg.
The Gaia challenge is in support of the Village Monde foundation (https://villagemonde.com/en/), a Quebec-based organization that promotes the development of a network for sustainable tourism in unexplored destinations. Village Monde offers to travellers looking for authenticity and sharing a chance to have a positive impact in those communities on a social, economic and environmental level.
