A very generous donation to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation.
December 18, 2019
iA Financial Group made a very generous donation of $2,000 to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation. This donation was to support a charitable foundation called the Gentle Ben Charity Challenge, which supports cancer research.
The organization was originally set up by Steven Pearl, Financial Advisor at iA Securities - Toronto, in 1997. It is an annual fundraising event where four iA employees participate: Steven Pearl, Bruce Morrison and Shawn Wilson (all iAS financial advisors) and Adam Elliott (National Sales Manager, iA Clarington). They invite friends, family and clients to also fundraise in memory of Steven Pearl's father (Ben Pearl), who passed away of cancer in 1997.
We have now raised over $1.7M over 22 years for cancer research. iA Financial Group's charitable donation is greatly appreciated.
